NETWORKING

We encourage you to network with other members of our REALTOR® family at our membership meetings. We invite informative speakers to our meetings to keep you updated on things that could affect the way you do business. Our most exciting meeting is our annual REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Auction. Our meetings give you the opportunity to interact in a relaxed atmosphere outside of the real estate transaction. The annual installation of our Officers and Directors offers another chance to mix and mingle with your fellow REALTORS® and many others that you may have worked with during the year. Have dinner and dance the night away to celebrate a year of hard work and dedication!

INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS

In addition to our regular membership meetings, Brokers/Owners meetings allow brokers and owners to discuss business concerns and changes in MLS, Laws and other policies or issues facing our profession. We will call meetings as needed to keep you informed on various topics that may interest you.

ROSTER

The membership roster is available to our members upon request. You can also use the InfoHub and the MembersPlus app to reach out to your peers.

REALTOR® Store

You need a lot of equipment to showcase those listings. We’ve got you covered! Sign riders, brochure boxes, decals and more are available in our REALTOR® Store.

ARBITRATION/ETHICS COMPLAINTS

NAR’s Code of Ethics requires you to arbitrate commission disputes with the REALTOR® Association as opposed to litigation. Code of Ethics complaints are also heard by a REALTOR® hearing panel.

UPDATES

We stay abreast of state and federal law changes that affect the real estate profession and advise members and brokers of such changes. When necessary we will supply seminars or speakers who can assist with this info.

COMMUNICATIONS

E-mails are our primary means of keeping you informed. You can also log on to www.SMTAR.com for the latest news and events or follow us on social media.

MISCELLANEOUS

Member needs vary. We are here to help you in any way that we can. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll help you find it! Your board staff has more than 30 years of experience serving the real estate professional, and is more than willing to put that experience to work for you.
